Founded in 1969, Alembic established a style of design and construction subsequently capied by countless makers worldwide, especially during the late 1970 and early 1980.  This comprised an innovative combination of laminated exotic woods, active electronics, and abundant brass hardware employed on through-neck, up-market instruments.
